The relationship
4Who does Kevin work with directly?
I work with healthcare executives, private-equity operating partners, and portfolio-company leaders. The common thread is a growth or operating constraint that needs both strategic clarity and implementation follow-through. I don't work through intermediaries or account managers.
Is this advisory, implementation, or both?
Both, connected. Every engagement starts with diagnosis and a clear recommendation. From there, scope can stay advisory or extend into implementation support, rollout, and optimization, with me coaching your team through the build. Strategy and delivery stay under the same accountability.
How is this different from a traditional consulting firm?
You work directly with the person shaping the strategy, not a partner who sells the work and hands it to a junior team. I've built and scaled a company, managed P&L, and operated the systems I advise on. The recommendations come from having been accountable for results, not from a framework assembled for a presentation.
Can RVNOPS work with our existing vendors and agencies?
Yes. I often work alongside existing marketing agencies, technology vendors, and internal teams. The goal is to connect and improve what's already in place, not to replace relationships that are working. Most of the value sits in the connective tissue between systems bought separately and never made to talk. When a vendor or tool is part of the constraint, I'll be direct about it.
Structure, pricing & timeline
2How is the work structured and priced?
Engagements begin with a focused assessment that produces a clear scope, set of priorities, and practical roadmap. From there, work is structured as either a defined project with milestones or an ongoing operating partnership. Pricing reflects the seniority of direct involvement and the complexity of the work, and it's fixed against a defined scope before anything starts. No open-ended hourly meter.
How long does a typical engagement last?
Assessments typically run two to four weeks. Implementation engagements range from eight weeks for a targeted system build to multi-quarter operating partnerships. Timeline follows the scope of change, not a packaged offering. I'd rather do one thing that holds than five that unravel after I leave.
Compliance & scope
3Does RVNOPS handle HIPAA and compliance requirements?
I design systems for HIPAA-regulated environments and ensure that workflows, technology choices, vendor relationships, and data handling reflect compliance requirements. Compliance-aware design is built into every engagement rather than bolted on at the end: access controls, audit trails, and BAAs are part of the architecture from the first diagram. I don't provide legal opinions or substitute for qualified healthcare counsel.
What does RVNOPS not do?
I don't provide clinical, legal, or regulatory advice. I don't offer fractional-executive services, staff augmentation, or generic marketing retainers. I don't build AI products to resell or license. The work stays focused on the intersection of growth strategy, operations, technology, and data.
Where is RVNOPS based?
RVNOPS is based in the United States and I work with healthcare organizations nationwide. Engagements accommodate both on-site working sessions and remote collaboration, depending on what the work requires.
Getting started
2What is the best way to start?
Fill out the intake form on this site. It takes about five minutes and asks the questions I'd ask on an introductory call: what constraint you're up against, what you've already tried, and what outcome would move the needle. I review every submission personally. If the fit is right, we'll set up a working session directly with me.
What happens after I submit the intake form?
I review your submission, usually within one business day. If the constraint is in my wheelhouse, I'll reach out to schedule a 60-minute working session: no deck, no pitch, just us working the problem. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you that directly and point you toward someone who might be. Either way, you get clarity, not a sales funnel.
Still have a question? Ask me directly.
The best way to get a specific answer is a working conversation. Bring the constraint and leave with a practical next move.
