An operator's workstation at night: three monitors of live dashboards, pipelines, and a terminal over a city skyline

Built by an operator, not a career advisor.

I design systems that hold under pressure. Then I enable your team to own them.

The operating record

Proof from inside the work.

The record comes from building teams, running real growth systems, and staying accountable through implementation, not from a framework assembled for a presentation.

Kevin Plumlee

I've spent more than 15 years at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and operations. I founded Dreamscape Marketing and scaled it from two people to more than 80, supporting more than 300 healthcare organizations. I sold the company to SPM Group, where I led the integration of IT systems, marketing platforms, and products across four merged companies. When Unlock Health acquired SPM Group and combined eight companies into one, I was at the center of that integration too: connecting infrastructure, unifying tech stacks, and making disparate systems actually work together. Two exits, two massive integrations, one company I built from nothing. I don't theorize about what works. I've lived it.

The conviction underneath the work is simple: growth problems are usually system problems. The marketing number is rarely the real constraint; it is where a deeper operating issue finally becomes visible. The work is to find that constraint, make the system observable, and fix the operating model so the technology has something worth accelerating.

You won't get handed from a sales team to a junior delivery team. I lead every engagement personally, and your team keeps the knowledge.

Kevin was with us on day 1 and is not only one of the most talented all-around developers I've had the pleasure of working with, but has an uncanny business sense and extremely fast learning curve. He developed almost all of our agency's best practices and backend systems.

Operating principles

Five tests every change must pass.

Every recommendation, build, and operating change is tested against these principles.

  1. 1

    Find the economic constraint.

  2. 2

    Make the system observable.

  3. 3

    Fix the operating model first.

  4. 4

Use technology where it creates real leverage.

  5. 5

    Measure what changed.

What people say

The standard clients now expect.

  • Kevin does not operate like a typical consultant. He builds the system alongside your team, trains them to run it, and holds himself accountable for whether it actually works. That is rare.

    COO

    Multi-state behavioral health organization

  • We had more tools than we could count and still could not answer basic questions about where patients were coming from. Kevin untangled the stack, connected what mattered, and gave us a dashboard leadership actually trusts.

    CEO

    Regional health system

  • The difference is he has actually run a company. He understands P&L pressure, board expectations, and what it takes to get a team aligned behind a plan. The strategy advice comes from having done it.

    Managing Partner

    Healthcare-focused private equity firm

  • We brought Kevin in to fix attribution. He ended up redesigning how marketing, admissions, and clinical teams hand off responsibility. The measurement improvement was a byproduct of fixing the operating model.

    VP Marketing

    Multi-location specialty care group

  • He told us on day one that AI would not fix a broken workflow. He was right. He made us fix the workflow first, then applied automation where it would actually create leverage. Our intake response times improved materially.

    CIO

    National addiction treatment provider

  • Most advisors hand you a deck and disappear. Kevin stayed through implementation, held weekly operating reviews, and did not leave until the team could run the system without him. That is the standard we now expect.
