For acquirers

Buy-Side Operational Due Diligence

What is really inside the platform you are acquiring?

The CIM shows the growth story. I show you what produced it, and whether it survives the hold period. A scored operational assessment of the target's growth infrastructure, delivered in diligence timeframes. I have done this work from the inside and I know exactly where value hides, and where it leaks.

  • Marketing dependency and channel concentration risk
  • Lead-flow truth: reported pipeline vs what the systems actually show
  • CRM and EHR data integrity, and whether attribution claims hold up
  • True cost per admission and unit economics by channel
  • Compliance exposure: HIPAA, OCR pixel enforcement, BAAs, Section 508
  • Team and process scalability under the growth plan you are underwriting

For sellers

Sell-Side Readiness Audit

Will your growth infrastructure survive diligence and defend the multiple?

Buyers discount what they cannot verify. I audit your growth infrastructure before the process starts, hand your team the remediation plan, and coach them through closing the gaps so the numbers hold up in the data room. I have been the seller in this position and I know what the buyer's diligence team will find.

  • Attribution gaps closed before a buyer's diligence team finds them
  • Systems, integrations, and SOPs documented and defensible
  • Pipeline data cleaned so reported metrics reconcile with source systems
  • Compliance remediation prioritized by deal risk
  • A growth story backed by evidence, not adjectives

The deliverable

You get a score, not a slide deck.

Every dimension of the target's growth infrastructure, rated for exposure and backed by systems evidence: the artifact your investment committee reads.

Operational diligence scorecard · sample

6 dimensions scored

What a buyer actually receives.

A scored read on the growth infrastructure behind the CIM (where concentration, attribution, data integrity, and compliance really stand) delivered in diligence timeframes. This is a redacted sample of the deliverable, not a real target.

  • Channel concentration
    At risk
  • Lead-flow truth vs reported
    Elevated
  • CRM / EHR data integrity
    Elevated
  • Unit economics by channel
    Minor gaps
  • Compliance exposure (HIPAA / OCR)
    At risk
  • Team & process scalability
    Minor gaps

Illustrative sample for shape only. Higher exposure means more risk to underwrite or remediate. On a live engagement each score is backed by the systems evidence, not adjectives.

How I work

Audit. Blueprint. Enablement.

I don't run your marketing, your CRM, or your ad accounts. I show your team exactly what to build, hand them the plan, and coach them until it runs without me.

  1. 1

    Diagnostic Audit

    2-3 weeks

Know exactly what's broken and what it costs.

An end-to-end assessment of your operation: capture, attribution, pipeline, systems, compliance. Every gap documented. Every problem quantified in dollars, not adjectives.

    • Scored assessment across all six components
    • A dollar figure on every problem I find
    • Prioritized findings your board can read in one sitting
  2. 2

    Growth Blueprint

    3-4 weeks

The plan your team will actually execute.

The prioritized build plan: system architecture, vendor evaluations, sequencing, and budgets, designed in working sessions with the people who will own it, so they own it the day it lands.

    • System architecture and integration map
    • Vendor shortlists with negotiation guidance
    • A sequenced 12-month roadmap with owners and budgets
  3. 3

    Team Enablement

    Quarterly retainer

Your people, running the system without me.

I stay through the build: weekly working sessions, unblocking, vendor-call support, and training, in your tools, with your team, until everything runs on its own.

    • Weekly working sessions and office hours
    • SOPs and training delivered as each system goes live
    • A team that no longer needs me

Why Kevin

I build things that work. Then I teach your team to run them.

I've spent more than 15 years at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and operations. I founded Dreamscape Marketing and scaled it from two people to more than 80, supporting more than 300 healthcare organizations. I sold the company to SPM Group, where I led the integration of IT systems, marketing platforms, and products across four merged companies. When Unlock Health acquired SPM Group and combined eight companies into one, I was at the center of that integration too: connecting infrastructure, unifying tech stacks, and making disparate systems actually work together. Two exits, two massive integrations, one company I built from nothing. I don't theorize about what works. I've lived it.

How I work across the whole hold period, from first 100 days to exit

Bring the deal to the intake form.

Tell me about the deal or the exit timeline. If it is a fit, we get into the data within the week, and you leave with a read on the biggest operational risk and whether a full audit makes sense. I lead every engagement personally.
